The Valued Advisor Fund
Seizing the Opportunity. The Valued Advisor Fund brings lasting value to low-income communities by capitalizing on our expertise and financial resources from the private and public sectors.
Our mission is to work with local economic development groups to attract capital to areas and projects currently underserved in the marketplace. We will work to promote the growth and experience of community development agencies while helping structure larger, more complex commercial real estate, business, and affordable rental and homeownership transactions.
Solutions Beyond the Basics
Working closely with New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) participants has allowed us to develop meaningful expertise in the federal NMTC program and its intricacies. We have significant success in partnering with communities and Community Development Entities (CDE) to leverage NMTC, conventional debt, and public resources.
We offer a full range of services in addition to specific New Markets Tax Credit expertise. These include application strategy, planning, and review; product structure and pipeline development; commercial real estate, working capital, and business expansion; historic credit twinning with new markets credits; investor network and capital raising expertise; and underwriting: compliance design and structuring support. If you are considering applying for credit, have received an allocation, or are looking for credits to place in your transaction, please contact us.
